Why should you buy when you can use it for free?
First, it's not freeware. It's free and unrestricted for your use while you try it out. I've put quite a bit of effort into StoryBox, however, and I'd like to put in a lot more. I can't do it, though, unless it pays the bills.
Second, I think it's the most usable software for writing novels on the Windows platform (or it will be once it reaches version 1.0) and it's totally worth the $25 I'm charging right now.
